- Own the Files — Keep digital and physical case files organized for fast, reliable access.
- Client Interaction — Work directly with clients to gather information, documents, and evidence supporting their cases.
- First-Class Intake — Conduct potential client intake calls/respond to emails, screening with the warmth and empathy these often-sensitive conversations require.
What You Bring:
- CA Litigation Fluency: 3–5 years of hands-on California civil litigation experience, including working knowledge of meet-and-confer requirements, Judicial Council forms, and CA e-filing rules (which differ from federal court).(Required)
- Day-One Tool Proficiency: Comfortable in Clio and Westlaw from day one — no software onboarding curve.
- Core Skills: Strong verbal/written communication, time management, and attention to detail.
- Credentials: Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program (required).
- Remote-Ready: Fully comfortable working remotely, with regular video/phone syncs to stay aligned with attorneys and clients.
- Preference for working part-time generally during standard business hours (Pacific Time).

Why You'll Love It Here:
- Predictable, Collaborative Schedule — 20 hrs/week, Monday–Friday Pacific Time generally during business hours, coordinated directly with the attorney, with reasonable flexibility.
- Modern Legal Tech — Software that eliminates some of the repetitive, manual work.
- Direct Impact — You work directly with the principal attorney; your organization and client care directly shape case outcomes.
