About the Position
We are looking for a dependable and compassionate Mobile Medical Assistant to provide clinical support to patients throughout the Lansing area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outside of a traditional clinic setting and is comfortable traveling to patient homes and partner facilities.
As part of our mobile care team, you'll play an important role in helping patients receive quality healthcare where they are most comfortable.
Primary Responsibilities
- Travel to scheduled patient visits throughout the assigned service area.
- Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens using proper collection techniques.
- Verify patient information and ensure specimens are labeled, handled, and transported according to established protocols.
- Record vital signs and obtain relevant patient information as directed.
- Enter accurate documentation into the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
- Coordinate with providers, nurses, and laboratory staff to support timely patient care.
- Deliver professional, respectful, and compassionate service during every patient interaction.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or comparable clinical training.
- Hands-on experience performing venipuncture and specimen collection.
- Minimum of one year of Medical Assistant or related clinical experience is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with dependable personal transportation.
- Comfortable driving throughout the Lansing service area during the workday.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to the clinical team.

Work Environment
This is a field-based position requiring daily travel within the Lansing region. Employees are provided with the necessary medical supplies and equipment to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
