Position Summary
The Seasonal Golf Assistant supports the daily operations of the Golf Department by providing exceptional service to members and guests. Responsibilities include assisting with golf shop operations, tournament and event preparation, tee-time operations, and general golf course support while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership & Program Management:
- Coordinate the Ladies Golf Programs including both the 18-Holers and 9 Holer groups
- Recruits, Builds, and Sustains strong participation in the ladies programs.
- Assists with operational leadership during peak seasonal periods.
Golf Operations & Member Services:
- Assists with daily golf operations and member service needs
- Supports practice facility operations. Maintaining a well-organized and professional environment
- Provides prompt, courteous, and professional service to members and guests.
Instruction and Play Development:
- Provides golf and playing lessons, as well as clinics for all golf members.
Retail and Facility:
- Assist with merchandising and inventory management as needed.
- Supports the Golf Shop operations and presentation standards.
Qualifications
- Three (3) years of instructing at all levels of golf
- Knowledge Golf Genius Tournament Software
- Knowledge of USGA Rules of Golf
Physical Requirements
- Ability stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
