Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Store Associate at our Melt-N-Dip location in Palos Park, IL and become the backbone of our store operation! In this energetic role, you'll be the friendly face customers see first, providing exceptional service while efficiently managing inventory, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. Your proactive approach will ensure products are well-presented, inventory levels are accurate, and customers leave satisfied. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, purchases, and returns to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Manage inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels and performing regular stock counts
- Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring items are stored safely and correctly
- Restock shelves with produce, packaged goods, and other merchandise while maintaining appealing displays through merchandising techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of the store environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring aisles are tidy for safety and aesthetics. This may includes dishwashing and other cleaning duties as assigned
- Support cashiering duties by handling transactions accurately and providing excellent customer service at checkout counters
Experience
- Prior restaurant experience or familiarity with food industry is highly desirable
- Bilingual or multilingual skills enhance communication with diverse customer bases
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and assist customers confidently
- Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate pricing, discounts, and inventory tracking
