We're hiring experienced CNC Machine Operators to join a well-established precision machining company in Brighton, MI. If you're comfortable operating CNC lathes or mills, reading blueprints, and producing quality parts, this is an excellent opportunity to put your skills to work immediately.
This is a full-time contract position expected to run through December, offering consistent hours, multiple shifts, and overtime opportunities.
Pay:
- 1st Shift: $20.50/hour
- 2nd Shift: $21.50/hour (includes $1.00 shift premium)
- 3rd Shift: $21.25/hour (includes $0.75 shift premium)
Available Shifts:
1st Shift
- Monday-Friday
- 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
2nd Shift
- Monday-Friday
- 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
3rd Shift
- Sunday-Thursday
- 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Overtime available based on production needs.
What You'll Do:
- Operate CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment
- Load and unload parts while monitoring machine performance
- Read blueprints and job instructions
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Make tool offsets and perform minor tool changes as needed
- Monitor coolant and oil levels
- Complete quality inspections and production documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe work area
What We're Looking For:
- Previous CNC machining experience (lathe and/or mill)
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
