Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning, polishing, and maintaining both the interior and exterior of vehicles, ensuring each customer’s experience exceeds expectations. Your proactive approach and dedication to safety will contribute to a smooth, efficient operation in a fast-paced auto detailing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing and automated car wash procedures, ensuring a spotless finish.
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to restore paint clarity and shine.
- Detail vehicle interiors by vacuuming, shampooing carpets, cleaning upholstery, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring a pristine appearance.
- Apply safe work practices when handling cleaning equipment, chemicals, and automotive buffers to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as heavy lifting of equipment or vehicles, and support the movement of vehicles within the facility.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness standards consistently throughout the day to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support additional duties like window tinting or minor cosmetic repairs as needed, always prioritizing safety and quality.
Qualifications
- Experience operating standard passenger cars with manual or automatic transmissions is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive buffing, paint correction, and exterior cleaning techniques is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with vehicle interior detailing, including cleaning equipment and janitorial experience related to auto detailing is a plus.
- Ability to follow safe work practices when using automotive buffers, cleaning chemicals, and other equipment.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or team members.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing detailed cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience in auto detailing facilities or car washes is advantageous; willingness to learn new skills is appreciated.
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
