Full-Time | Salary Range: $50,000–$120,000
Location: Maywood Tennis Club – Maywood, NJ
Maywood Tennis Club is seeking proven, high-performing tennis professionals to join our established indoor program. We are looking for coaches with a track record of success—on and off the court—who are capable of working with both junior and adult players at various stages of development, from beginners to competitive athletes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver private and group lessons to juniors and adults across all levels, with a focus on long-term development and performance.
- Design progressive, engaging lesson plans that incorporate modern technique, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning.
- Manage a regular client base with professionalism, accountability, and consistency.
- Contribute to a team-driven coaching culture by collaborating with peers and program directors.
- Represent the club with professionalism, energy, and a customer-first mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of high-level coaching experience in a club, academy, or collegiate setting.
- Strong foundation in technique, tactics, and tennis-specific training methodology.
- Experience working with both juniors and adults in developmental and competitive environments.
- National certification (USPTA, PTR, or international equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
