Job Description
We are searching nationwide for a highly specialized Blister Packaging Operator / Technician / Mechanic with hands-on experience running, troubleshooting, setting up, maintaining, and optimizing thermoform blister packaging equipment.
This is a unique hybrid role. We are not simply looking for an operator — we need someone with a combination of operator, technician, and mechanic capabilities who understands the full lifecycle of blister packaging equipment and can help support production, automation, setup, troubleshooting, and efficiency improvements.
The ideal candidate has direct experience working with:
- Mediseal
- Uhlmann
- IMA
- CAM
- Bosch / Syntegon
- Marchesini
- Romaco
- Similar thermoform blister packaging systems
This individual will play a critical role helping us accelerate machine setup, optimize performance, improve production efficiency, reduce downtime, and support automation initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Operate thermoform blister packaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform machine setup, startup, and product changeovers
- Troubleshoot machine and production issues
- Perform mechanical adjustments and support maintenance activities
- Diagnose equipment performance issues and reduce downtime
- Optimize production output and packaging efficiency
- Assist with automation and process improvements
- Support preventive maintenance initiatives
- Work cross-functionally with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams
- Maintain compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and cGMP requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout operations
Requirements
- Hands-on experience operating blister packaging equipment required
- Experience with Mediseal, Uhlmann, IMA, CAM, Bosch/Syntegon, Marchesini, Romaco, or similar equipment strongly preferred
- Strong experience with thermoform and foil blister packaging required
- Machine setup and changeover experience required
- Troubleshooting and maintenance experience required
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify operational issues
- Experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, medical device, or cGMP manufacturing environments strongly preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced production environments
- Experience improving production efficiency is highly preferred
- Lead operator, setup technician, or supervisory experience is a plus
