NDT Technician II
Location: Spokane, WA
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (4x10 Schedule)
Pay: $27.90–$42.30 per hour (DOE)

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must have required NDT certifications and documented NDT hours

Previous years of experience are not required as long as certification and required hours have been completed.
What You'll Do
-
Perform non-destructive testing on aircraft sheet metal components.

Process and inspect parts in accordance with customer and company specifications.

Interpret inspection results and accurately document findings.

Follow and revise NDT technique sheets as needed.

Support NDT Technician I personnel with inspections and technical assistance.

Generate radiographic images for parts with simple and complex geometries.

Identify process concerns and communicate findings to the appropriate technician or supervisor.

Evaluate inspection methods and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Use precision measuring equipment including calipers and micrometers.

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, manufacturing plans, and work instructions.

Complete manufacturing documentation and electronic timekeeping accurately.

Perform all work in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
-
Current certification in:
-
Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI)
-
Radiographic Inspection (RT)
-
Digital X-Ray Inspection (DR)
-
Required documented NDT training hours/certifications.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.

Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

Knowledge of shop math and precision measuring tools.

General knowledge of manufacturing, welding, and forming processes.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
