Duties
- Perform tire replacements, rotations, balancing, and repairs with precision and efficiencies
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs
- Diagnose basic tire issues using automotive diagnostics equipment and mechanical knowledge
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending maintenance needs
- Lift heavy tires and vehicle components safely during service procedures to meet safety standards
Experience
- Previous dealership or automotive repair shop experience highly preferred
- Mechanical experience with standard passenger cars and light trucks required
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, and tire service techniques essential
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment necessary
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills coupled with mechanical aptitude to assist customers effectively
