Overview
Provision Heating & Air is hiring an experienced HVAC Installer – New Construction & Retrofit. This position will work on residential new construction rough-ins, equipment installations, system replacements, and retrofit projects. You will also assist our service technicians when additional installation or technical support is needed.
The ideal candidate can complete quality HVAC work independently, follow plans and duct layouts, maintain clean job sites, and help move projects from rough-in through final startup and inspection.
Duties
- Install ductwork in new residential construction
- Complete HVAC rough-ins, trim-outs, and final installations
- Set and install furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, air conditioners, coils, and mini-split systems
- Perform residential equipment replacements and retrofit installations
- Run refrigerant lines, condensate drains, venting, and gas piping
- Braze refrigerant lines, pressure test systems, evacuate, and assist with charging and startup
- Read and follow mechanical plans, equipment specifications, and duct layouts
- Assist with system startup, airflow verification, testing, and troubleshooting
- Help service technicians with larger repairs, equipment changeouts, and installation-related work
- Prepare projects for rough-in and final inspections
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Follow company procedures, manufacturer requirements, building codes, and safety standards
Requirements
- Previous residential HVAC installation experience
- Experience with new construction rough-ins and equipment installations
- Experience with residential replacements or retrofit work preferred
- Familiarity with furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, mini-splits, and duct systems
- Able to read basic blueprints, mechanical plans, and duct layouts
- Basic troubleshooting and system startup experience
- Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and active construction environments
- Able to lift 50+ pounds and safely use ladders and HVAC tools
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong workmanship, communication, and problem-solving skills
- EPA certification and Washington 06A license or trainee card preferred
