Job Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for performing various duties to support the SBA Lending Department; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; complying with operating policies and procedures established for this position. Reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field; or equivalent work experience
Minimum 1 year of banking experience
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
High degree of attention to detail and ability to multitask
Working knowledge of SBA regulations
Working knowledge of Bank’s tickler system preferred
Proficient knowledge of SBA’s SOP
Essential functions and responsibilities:
Assists in activities to finalize the SBA loan settlements to meet critical deadlines
Coordinates closing date and location between, Lender and Closing Agent
Gathers and reviews all information for completion of settlement documents, charges and instructions from documentation provided in file
Responsible for monitoring pipeline in order to ensure timely disclosures and preparation of all closing documentation
Reviews title report
Inputs accurate closing information in Etran
Assists with the preparation and reviews Loan Estimate and other disclosures for accuracy and compliance, prior to closing
Responsible for any post-closing changes to the Closing Disclosure
Responsible to send loan documents to title company
Responsible to set up wires to closing agent
Assist with the preparation of loan files for post-closing
Works with title company for any outstanding issues
Reviews credit reports, property searches, flood certification and appraisals
Coordinates with maintaining insurance ticklers
