Job Overview
We are a specialty café located in Damee Korean restaurant in Buena Park seeking friendly, reliable baristas who value hospitality, consistency, and teamwork. This role involves beverage preparation, customer interaction, and maintaining a clean, organized café environment.
Due to our diverse customer base, Korean language skills are preferred to assist guests more effectively. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply regardless of language background.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, matcha, and specialty beverages
- Prepare bingsu and bungeoppang
- Deliver professional and welcoming customer service
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and café
- Follow recipes, procedures, and food-safety standards
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily operations
Qualifications
- English communication required
- Korean language skills preferred (customer service support)
- Barista or food-service experience preferred (training provided)
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30-40 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend availability a plus
