Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly/Packaging Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling components, packaging finished products, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Duties
- Assemble products according to detailed schematics, blueprints, and work instructions using various hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct precise measurements utilizing calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure component accuracy.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and fabrication blueprints to facilitate accurate assembly.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as welding machines, soldering stations, and machining tools as required.
- Package finished products securely for shipment, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Utilize forklift trucks for material handling within the warehouse or production area.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking components and finished goods within the warehouse environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements for efficiency and quality.
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly environments is preferred, especially involving mechanical assembly or fabrication.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, soldering, and machining equipment.
- Knowledge of precision measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes including fabrication, welding, and machining techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues effectively.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high-quality standards. This role is vital for ensuring the seamless production of high-quality products. - Pay rate : $10/hr
- Schedule : 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM / 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday–Saturday)
