The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of tractors and related equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction through high quality service. The essential job functions include but are not limited to the responsibilities listed below.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in tractors and agricultural equipment.

Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulics, and other components.

Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics and use all available resources like operator’s manuals, workshop manuals, and the OEM reps.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on tractors and equipment.

Communicate effectively with customers to understand their service needs and provide technical advice.

Replace or repair defective parts, components, or systems to ensure optimal performance.

Perform safety checks and ensure all equipment meets safety standards.

Provide detailed explanations of repairs and maintenance performed to customers.

Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and repairs on time.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours.

Prepare service reports and documentation for each job completed.

Will order parts as needed to complete certain jobs.

Work closely with other technicians, service advisors, and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow.

Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on the latest technologies and service techniques.

Maintain and care for tools and equipment used in the repair and maintenance process.

Ensure that the work area is clean, organized, and safe.

Experience in engine/equipment diagnosis and repair with a track record of success, preferably in one of the following industries: agricultural equipment, motor vehicle industry, outdoor power equipment, recreational vehicles, construction equipment and machinery, small engine and accessories.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in agricultural equipment or automotive repair is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technician in a dealership or repair shop environment.

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
