We are a growing personal injury law firm seeking an experienced Lead Intake Specialist & Legal Assistant to join our fully remote team. This role is the cornerstone of our client development process. You will handle all incoming leads, convert prospects into signed clients, manage the intake process from first call to executed retainer, and support our legal team through the pre-litigation phase.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer all incoming calls and conduct thorough intake interviews with prospective clients
- Convert qualified leads into signed clients using a consultative, empathetic approach
- Prepare and send retainer agreements and follow up until fully executed
- Educate newly signed clients on the pre-litigation process and their responsibilities
- Coordinate referrals to initial medical treatment providers and confirm appointments
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the firm's case management system
- Manage the attorney's calendar and prevent scheduling conflicts
- Support the paralegal with file organization, medical records requests, and insurance adjuster correspondence
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 to 4 years of experience in personal injury intake or pre-litigation legal support
- Working knowledge of the personal injury pre-litigation process
- Demonstrated ability to close hesitant leads into signed clients
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, written and verbal
- Proficiency with legal case management software such as CasePeer, Filevine, Clio, or MyCase
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable high-speed internet and a professional remote workspace
COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
Pay: $22 to $28 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST (40 hours per week)
Location: Fully Remote
Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor
