Position Overview
As our Local Marketing Intern, you won't just be fetching coffee—you will be a vital driver of our brand’s digital footprint. Operating at the intersection of healthcare and technology, you will own our localized social media presence, craft compelling content, and manage our brand voice across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Own, grow, and monitor MedKick’s active social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram).
- Content Creation & Copywriting: Draft engaging, SEO-friendly blog posts and educational content highlighting the benefits of Remote Patient Monitoring.
- Editorial Calendar Management: Maintain and execute our comprehensive social media and content calendars to ensure consistent, timely messaging.
- Brand Advocacy: Assist in developing local marketing materials, newsletters, and email campaigns targeted at healthcare providers.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance metrics across social channels to help optimize future campaigns.
- Ad-Hoc Marketing Projects: Collaborate directly with leadership on strategic initiatives, market research, and creative brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Currently enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior at an accredited college or university in the Mobile, AL area (e.g., University of South Alabama, Spring Hill College, Mobile University).
- Major: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a closely related field.
- Tech Savvy: Strong familiarity with social media platforms (especially LinkedIn and Facebook) and social management tools.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for detail and grammar.
- Creativity & Autonomy: A self-starter mindset with the ability to take a concept and run with it.
- Tech-Savvy: Basic knowledge of design tools (like Canva) and content management systems (like WordPress) is a strong plus.
