Responsibilities
- Develop and implement diverse activity programs that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and physical well-being for residents.
- Coordinate special events, outings, and recreational therapies that align with residents’ interests and abilities.
- Assist residents with daily activities (ADLs), including mobility, dressing, and personal care when needed.
- Collaborate with care teams to identify individual preferences and develop personalized activity plans.
- Manage activity schedules efficiently to ensure timely delivery of programs and events.
- Foster an engaging atmosphere by encouraging participation and building strong relationships with residents.
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities, attendance records, and resident feedback to monitor engagement levels.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or long-term care settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and senior care best practices.
- Strong skills in event planning, recreational therapy, and working with individuals with disabilities or aging issues.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to assist residents with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and manage schedules efficiently.
- Experience in home & community care or social work is a plus.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
