How you will live your ambition:
In the role of Texas Slitting Center Manager, you will report to our NA OPS Director, overseeing a team of 5 operators, and you will be based in Garland, TX. You will be responsible for:
· Overseeing daily operations across production, warehousing, and shipping to ensure efficiency and on-time delivery
· Managing production planning, labor allocation, and staffing to meet operational targets and control costs
· Ensuring performance standards are met in terms of quality, productivity, waste, and service levels
· Leading, coaching, and developing team members, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
· Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency and throughput
· Collaborating with Planning, Supply Chain, and HR on staffing, performance management, and operational alignment
· Ensuring compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements, promoting a strong safety culture
· Partnering with Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and support facility and process improvements
The attitudes and skills we’re looking for:
· Degree or Diploma in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
· Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, converting, warehousing, or distribution operations.
· Strong understanding of operational KPIs, labor planning, and continuous improvement methodologies.
· Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing/distribution environment.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
