Employment / Civil Rights Litigation Associate Position
Menken Simpson & Rozger LLP, is a small, cutting-edge, plaintiff-side employment law and civil rights firm. For over 28 years, we have represented individuals and classes of employees in discrimination, wage and hour, and whistleblowing matters. We also have a boutique practice representing executives, medical and academic professionals, and counseling non-profits and small companies. We are a tight-knit legal group of six advocates comprised of three partners and three associates. We are looking for an Employment / Civil Rights Litigation Associate who is an enthusiastic, hard-working, dogged advocate with excellent writing and research skills, a passion for working with clients and co-workers, a willingness to take initiative and work hard, and a commitment to advancing civil rights for employees and victims of government misconduct. For this position, we require two years of combined litigation and/or clerkship experience (employment law experience is a major plus), a passion for legal writing, an ability to work and write independently, and excellent time-management and organizational skills. Admission to the New York Bar is required.Compensation and Benefits: We offer competitive health benefits and an employer matching retirement contribution.
