We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Part-Time Food Server / Cashier to join our restaurant team.
This is a customer-facing position responsible for taking customer orders, handling the register, packaging food for takeout orders, serving food to dine-in customers, and keeping the restaurant clean and organized.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, communicates well with customers and coworkers, and can stay calm and efficient during busy restaurant hours.
Previous restaurant or cashier experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, responsible, and willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service
- Take customer orders accurately in person and through the restaurant's ordering system
- Operate the cash register and process customer payments accurately
- Package and prepare food for takeout and pickup orders
- Check orders for accuracy before handing them to customers
- Serve food to dine-in customers
- Assist dine-in customers with their needs throughout their visit
- Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure orders are prepared correctly and efficiently
- Keep the dining area, counter, and front-of-house areas clean and organized
- Clean tables and dining areas throughout the shift
- Restock food containers, utensils, napkins, and other front-of-house supplies
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized restaurant environment
- Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures
- Assist with opening, closing, and other general restaurant duties as needed

Our restaurant can become quite warm during the summer, so applicants should be comfortable working in a warmer indoor environment.
