Position: Line Cook
Location: The Station 100, Frankenmuth, MI
Hours: Full-Time / Part-Time
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Food Items: Prepare and present dishes such as fried food, sides, and appetizers
- Station Preparation: Set up and organize the station before service, ensuring all necessary ingredients and tools are ready for use.
- Clean-Up Duties: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cold station during and after service, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Pre-Preparation Tasks: Prepare ingredients and components for future dishes outside of active service hours, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly during peak times.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and a harmonious work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end restaurant or fine dining establishment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cold food preparation techniques and plating principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
