Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Pratitioner to join our lab team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care for our clients. We are looking for someone who is certified to do DOT physicals. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests, including DOT physicals
- Document patient information accurately using ICD-10 coding for diagnoses.
- Provide care in diverse settings such our fastest labs offices
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- License to perform DOT physicals
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in performing DOT physicals is highly desirable.
