We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Personal Care Assistant to join our dedicated caregiving team. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces
- Observe and report any changes in client condition or behavior promptly to healthcare professionals or family members
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s personal assistive devices safely during transfers and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support
Requirements
- Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, autism support, and hospice care is advantageous
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with patient transfers and mobility assistance
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams, clients, and families
- Demonstrated ability to work with people with disabilities or developmental challenges in a respectful manner
- Experience working with seniors or individuals requiring long-term care support is desirable
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed

Possibility for overtime at $16.50
