Overview
Join our dental team as a Dental Hygienist and help provide exceptional patient care in a friendly, welcoming environment. You'll use your skills to deliver quality cleanings, assess oral health, and educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles while building lasting relationships with them.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including regular and deep cleanings to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Reviewing medical history and current dental conditions to make informed treatment plans.
- Take X-rays, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term health.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and treatment notes
- Follow infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to ensure a safe clinical environment for patients and staff.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental software platforms such as OpenDental for scheduling, documentation review, and record keeping.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry and general dentistry practices.
