Position Summary:
E-RXhub is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations at our closed-door pharmacy in Tampa. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of medications, including temperature-sensitive GLP-1 medications, in full compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule prescription deliveries and pickups
- Prepare, package, and label outbound medication orders per E-RXhub protocols
- Handle GLP-1 medications with proper cold-chain procedures
- Receive, inspect, and restock pharmaceutical inventory
- Maintain accurate logs for inventory, shipments, and returns
- Communicate with delivery drivers, pharmacy technicians, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FDA, and Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations
- Manage logistics for controlled substances and temperature-sensitive drugs
- Assist with returns, recalls, and inventory discrepancies
- Keep logistics and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
- Experience in pharmacy logistics, shipping, or inventory control
- Familiarity with pharmacy systems and shipping platforms
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods
- Valid driver’s license (if delivery coordination is required)
- Understanding of HIPAA and pharmaceutical handling protocols
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work in a closed-door or long-term care pharmacy
- Experience handling GLP-1 medications, cold-chain shipments, and controlled substances
