Position: 100% Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist
Term: 2026-2027 School Year (assignment-based)
Hours: 10+ Hours Per Week, Flexible Scheduling
Grade: PreK - 8th Grade
Hourly Rate: $55-$65/hr
Employment Type: W-2, Hourly, Temporary Assignment - No Benefits
License: Active California SLP License (or able to obtain)
Work Location: Remote (California)
About This Opportunity
This is a W-2, non-benefit hourly assignment.
The assignment is tied to a specific school contract and caseload. Your hours are driven by student enrollment and district need.
This is a temporary, at-will assignment that concludes at the end of the 2026–2027 school year. It may also conclude earlier if the underlying district contract or student caseload is reduced or discontinued.
This position does not include health, dental, vision, retirement, license reimbursement, or any other employee benefits.
What You'll Do
- Provide virtual speech-language therapy services to students in grades PreK–8 in individual and group sessions on a case-by-case bases
- Complete evaluations, progress monitoring, and re-evaluations as assigned
- Write reports and maintain documentation in accordance with California and IDEA requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Maintain clear, timely communication with the school team and our support staff
What We're Looking For
- Active California SLP license, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
- 2+ years of school-based experience preferred
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with PreK–8th grade learners
- Strong, prompt communication with educators and multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA/FERPA-appropriate home workspace
