Job Title: Sign Electrical Assembly Technician

Pay: $17 - $19 per hour (based on experience)
Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sign Electrical Assembly Technician to join our production team. This position is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components for illuminated signs and related products. The ideal candidate has basic electrical knowledge, good mechanical skills, and the ability to work safely with hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical components for illuminated signs and displays
- Install and wire LED modules, power supplies, transformers, and other sign components
- Read and follow wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions
- Test electrical systems and troubleshoot basic issues
- Ensure all assemblies meet quality and safety standards
- Operate hand tools, drills, saws, and other shop equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with sign fabrication and final assembly as needed
- Follow company safety procedures and production schedules
Qualifications
- Previous electrical assembly, sign manufacturing, or related experience preferred
- Basic understanding of low-voltage electrical systems and wiring
- Ability to read tape measures and blueprints
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights 6 feet and under.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work in an environment containing dust
- Ability to work in a non-temperature controlled environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with LED sign assembly
- Soldering experience
- Knowledge of UL sign standards
- Forklift certification is a plus
