Our Daily Bread Bakery & Bistro is hiring for our Part-Time Baker's Assistant position in our Blacksburg location. This is a permanent, year-round position which requires morning and daytime hours.
We are a from scratch bakery making everything in-house such as breads, cakes, croissants, muffins, cookies, and many other sweet and savory baked goods. This Baker's Assistant position works primarily with bread, rolls, croissants, puff pastry, pie dough, cookie dough, and other viennoiserie baked goods. Typical hours are approximately 6am - 2pm with a regular weekly schedule (never Sundays).
Posted pay includes a base hourly rate and a store-wide tip share.
Experience is preferred but not required. Ability to lift heavy objects and work physically with your hands is required.
