The Position
GVT is looking for a motivated General Service / C-Level Automotive Technician who is ready to take the next step in their career.
This position is ideal for someone who already has automotive experience and is comfortable with maintenance, tires, brakes, alignments, fluid services, and light mechanical repairs — but wants the opportunity to keep learning and move into more advanced automotive work.
This isn't just an oil-change position.
We want someone who wants to become a better technician, take on more responsibility, increase their earning potential, and build a career with GVT.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform complete vehicle inspections and identify safety and maintenance needs.
- Perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance services.
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
- Perform wheel alignments.
- Complete brake pad, rotor, and brake-system services.
- Perform fluid exchanges and maintenance services.
- Replace batteries, filters, belts, and other maintenance components.
- Perform steering and suspension repairs.
- Complete light mechanical repairs based on experience and ability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot basic vehicle concerns using proper procedures.
- Work alongside experienced technicians on more advanced repairs as your skills develop.
- Properly document vehicle condition, recommendations, and completed repairs.
- Test drive vehicles and verify repairs before returning them to our customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to grow.
You should be:
- Reliable and ready to work.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive shop.
- Able to perform quality work without cutting corners.
- Willing to learn from experienced technicians.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Interested in developing from a GS/C-Level technician into a B-Level and eventually A-Level technician.
Compensation
$50,000–$70,000 per year based on experience and ability, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of automotive repair/service experience required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- No DUI or reckless driving violations within the past three years.
- Driving record (MVR) verification required.
- ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
