JMC is a prominent firm of 40 dedicated professionals providing Site Planning, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture and Land Surveying on public and private land development projects throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. The firm is seeking motivated Traffic Engineers with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Traffic and Transportation Engineering that includes:
- Highway Improvement Plan Design
- Traffic Signal Plan Design
- Traffic and Parking Studies
- Attend Technical Meetings with Clients and Government Officials
- Attend Project Public Meetings
Also preferred knowledge of:
- Site Planning
- Civil / Site Design and Preparation of Site Plans
- Preparation of Technical Reports.
- Grading and Drainage Design
- Utility Design, including public and private sewer and water systems
- Stormwater Management and SWPPP Preparation, including erosion control plans
- GIS Mapping
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- EIT or P.E. registration a plus
- AutoCAD experience required
- Synchro Traffic Analysis Software a plus
- Excellent writing, communication and analytical skills required
Compensation Package includes:
Compensation commensurate with experience.
