Full Time | Monday-Friday | 8am-4pm | $18-$20/hour

As a Landscape/Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Department, including hands-on repair work, to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain the appearance of work areas.
- Perform regular inspections of resident rooms and units to ensure order, safety, and proper performance of equipment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures in nursing care facilities.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
- Exhibit leadership and supervisory ability, with a willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
- Develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and other initiatives to ensure the smooth operation of the Maintenance Department.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Possess a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism.
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs and goals.
- Ability to display patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm when interacting with residents.
