Bartender / Guest Experience Associate — Golf Simulator Facility (TrackMan)
Overview Join The Turn an indoor golf simulator venue. You’ll serve beer, wine, and cocktails; create a welcoming, fun environment; and assist guests using TrackMan golf simulators. Ideal for someone who loves people, fast-paced service. Days, Evening and weekend availability would be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest service
- Greet and check in parties; explain venue policies and session flow.
- Deliver attentive, tableside service to simulator bays; manage tabs and payments.
- Anticipate needs, resolve issues quickly, and maintain a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
- Bar operations
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, spirits, and basic cocktails to spec; upsell featured items.
- Verify IDs and ensure responsible alcohol service per state/local laws.
- Maintain bar stock, rotate inventory, and complete opening/closing side work.
- Keep bar and guest areas clean, organized, and compliant with health codes.
- TrackMan support
- Set up player profiles, tee boxes, courses, and practice modes.
- Provide basic coaching on system use: club/ball data, shot replay, target games, and scoring.
- Troubleshoot common issues (sensor alignment, tee/ball placement, calibration) and escalate when needed.
- Sanitize equipment and keep bays tidy between groups; manage bay turnover on schedule.
- Sales and events
- Promote leagues, lessons, packages, and merch; support private events and group bookings.
- Record guest feedback and report maintenance or tech concerns promptly.
- Safety and compliance
- Enforce bay safety (one swinger at a time, proper spacing, no dry swings outside mat).
- Follow cash-handling, PCI, and incident-report procedures.
Qualifications
- 1+ year bartending or high-volume hospitality experience; POS proficiency. Not requirement but recommended
- Strong customer service skills; calm under pressure with a team-first mindset.
- Comfort learning and explaining tech.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and classic cocktails.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs; reliable evening/weekend availability.
Success Looks Like
- Guests feel welcomed, drinks are consistent, bays run on time, and first-time users confidently operate TrackMan.
- High guest satisfaction scores, repeat bookings, and strong add-on sales.
Schedule and Compensation
- Part-time or full-time; evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Hourly base pay plus tips; employee perks may include bay time and discounts.
