Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Landscape Sales Representative to join our team. This dual-focus role is responsible for both Maintenance Contract Sales (recurring revenue) and Landscape Enhancement/Installation Projects (design-build).
The ideal candidate is a proactive "relationship builder" who can walk a property, identify opportunities to improve its health and beauty, and present professional proposals that win over residential and commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Sales
- Maintenance Portfolios: Prospect and close new recurring maintenance contracts for commercial and high-end residential properties.
- Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients after the sale to ensure long-term satisfaction.
- Conduct regular "quality walks" on-site to identify upsell opportunities (enhancements) and ensure maintenance crews are meeting standards.
- Manage contract renewals and address client concerns proactively.
Project Coordination
- Collaborate with the Production Manager and Crew Leads to ensure a smooth hand-off from sales to execution.
- Ensure all project materials and designs align with the client’s expectations and the agreed-upon budget.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in landscape sales, account management, or field supervision.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of local plant material, turf management, irrigation systems, and hardscape construction.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to explain technical landscape concepts to non-technical clients.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Design/Build Projects: Sell landscape installation projects, including hardscapes, plantings, irrigation upgrades, and outdoor lighting.
- Estimating: Perform site measurements and use company software to generate accurate, profitable estimates.
- Presentations: Meet with property managers, HOAs, and homeowners to present proposals and explain the value of our services.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape design or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and landscape maintenance practices is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant materials, and sustainable design principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $53,331.00 - $77,753.00 per year
