Dietary Manager

About the Role:
As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for managing the dietary department, overseeing the preparation and service of meals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and quality standards. Your expertise will help us maintain a high level of patient satisfaction, while also promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the dietary department, including coordinating meal service, inventory management, and staff supervision
Ensure compliance with State Regulatopms and maintain high-quality standards
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and menus that align with patient needs and preferences
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized meal plans
Monitor and report on food safety, quality, and service
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
Provide training and orientation to new staff members
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dietary management role
Knowledge of sanitation and food service regulation in Illinois skilled nursing facilities
Certified Dietary Manager certification
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and customer service
