Senior Java Developer

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade applications and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and modern software development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise Java applications.
- Build scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and code reviews.
- Mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Partner with DevOps teams on CI/CD implementation.
- Ensure applications meet security, quality, and coding standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong experience with Java 8/11/17+.
- Extensive Spring Framework / Spring Boot experience.
- Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong understanding of OOP and design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Strong SQL development and database optimization skills.
- Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies.
- NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
- Redis/distributed caching.
- OAuth2, JWT, or SAML.
- Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
- GraphQL or serverless technology exposure.
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
