Job Title: Front Office Secretary / Data Entry Specialist
Schedule: – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM / Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
This position requires availability on Fridays and Saturdays. There is the potential for additional hours throughout the week as needed to cover the front office during vacations, sick leave, and other absences. While extra hours are often available, they are not guaranteed and will vary based on business needs.
Reports To: Owner / Operations Manager
Location: Marr Bros. Office, Monmouth, OR
Key Responsibilities
- Review incoming text messages and emails immediately upon arrival to identify new orders, changes, or customer inquiries.
- Confirm customer orders, accurately complete paper order tickets, and place the completed tickets on the Manager’s desk for dispatching.
- Record every order in a backup order book/ledger to ensure no orders are missed after delivery and to support accurate billing and payment collection for Marr Bros.
- Compile the previous day’s load data (including delivered loads and inbound shipments of sawdust, bark, mulch, and other materials) and email a daily loads report to the owner each morning.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails, provide customer service, answer product questions, and write up/process new orders (especially bulk semi-load orders).
- Prepare and document orders for bulk semi-load deliveries.
- Operate the credit card machine to process payments for U-Haul and retail/self-haul customer purchases of bark, sand, rock, gravel, and firewood.
- Perform general office administration and data entry tasks to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
