Duties:
- Provide primary medical care to patients of all ages, including adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses and conditions.
- Conduct physical examinations and medical assessments to evaluate patients' overall health.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms.
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans based on patients' individual needs.
- Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing wounds or removing skin lesions.
- Provide counseling on preventive healthcare measures, including vaccinations, screenings, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in primary care medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
- Ability to work well in a team-based healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with compassion and empathy.
