The newly renovated Stanley Chocolate Shops in Estes Park, CO is seeking a skilled and passionate Chocolatier to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a particular emphasis on chocolate and pastry artistry. As a Chocolatier, you will be responsible for creating high-quality chocolate confections, ensuring exceptional presentation, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Create a variety of chocolate products including truffles, bonbons, and molded chocolates.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to enhance visual appeal.
- Package finished products attractively for retail display while ensuring freshness.
- Develop new recipes and seasonal offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management of ingredients and supplies needed for production.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers about products and offering recommendations.
- Participate in catering events as needed, showcasing chocolate creations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production or preparation within the culinary or food industry.
- Strong baking skills with an emphasis on chocolate work; pastry experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment.
- Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in presentation techniques.
