Mountain Tree Service Inc. is a family-owned business in Somers, Connecticut, with over 40 years of experience providing a full span of professional tree care services for residential, commercial, and municipal customers throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. We have a team of fully licensed and insured arborists and certified professionals.
We are currently seeking an experienced groundman with the following skills :
- Chainsaw use and maintenance
- Use of porta wrap and strong understanding of running ropes
- Knot tying
- Able to back up truck and trailer
- Basic equipment maintenance
- Understands the importance of safety and use of PPE
- Able to operate mini excavator or able to learn in short span of time
Must have a valid driver's license. The position requires working outside in all types of weather.
Candidates must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing and must have reliable transportation to and from work. Competitive pay based on experience. Tree trimming/pruning and removal experience preferred, but will train the right candidate.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
