**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have positive energy, kind and patient demeanor, reliable and on time, active and strong work ethic, a love for service and easy to get along with. It is a requirement that this candidate is available primarily on weekends- especially Sundays, and can have availability from 7 am. *Responsibilities:** - Prepare and serve a variety of pastries, coffee drinks, smoothies, teas, and sandwiches following company recipes - Operate POS system and cash register for transactions - Assist customers in selecting beverages and pastries - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Handle food and beverage orders with accuracy and efficiency - Provide FRIENDLY and attentive customer service at all times **Experience:** - Previous experience in a similar role within the barista world or bartending, and food industry.- Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems, MUST be able to count money ! - Knowledge of square POS is a plus - Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products -Experience in food handling and preparation/knowledge of European espresso beverages.
Pay, after training, is around $19-$24 average (maximum amount is expected on busy weekends) with base pay and tips included.

-be available to be scheduled on weekends.
-be comfortable around and talking with people. If you feel anxious or nervous around customers this is not a good fit for you.
-have a happy, humble, positive demeanor. Patience and a non- judgemental outlook on humanity is hugely important to us. Our vibes here are contagious - we are pleasant to be around here!
-be willing to contribute to team mates constantly- working together, cleaning up after ourselves and eachother in between customers. We dont fly solo Ever !
-show up on time for shifts- time management is key! Being dependable for shifts is a must. We have low tolerance for lack of attendance Here.
-quick serving. must understand the idea of quick service. stay focused on getting customers what they asked for in fast time (careful and focused!)
-be able to laugh and be light hearted. we work a lot, we have to be able to have fun together and enjoy eachothers company
