Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and proper usage through engaging demos and explanations
- Operate POS systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and conducting inventory checks
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting remote customers
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding product sales and customer age verification
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably within the cannabis or health & wellness industry
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team collaboration
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively
- Strong communication skills with an energetic and positive attitude
- Knowledge of retail math for handling cash drawers, balancing registers, and performing basic calculations accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations for seamless transactions
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently and educate customers on store offerings
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional remote communication
- Basic understanding of merchandising principles to maintain appealing displays
- Ability to handle stock replenishment, inventory management, and retail store product knowledge confidently
