```Duties:```
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, orthopedic- based
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare provider
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Provide patient education on healthcare topics
```Experience:```
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a medical assistant training program preferred, but not required
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
