Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning operations across all areas
- Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards aligned with industry best practices
- Monitor and enforce adherence to safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and quality control measures during all cleaning tasks
- Assign tasks based on staff strengths and workload demands, ensuring timely completion of duties such as janitorial services, laundry management, and industrial cleaning projects
- Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness levels, safety compliance, and proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally while maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage and timely replenishment
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial work, commercial or industrial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
- Effective communication skills for managerial communication with staff, clients, and vendors
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not mandatory; a background in management or janitorial experience is highly valued
