The La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham Oxford is currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Hotel Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will be a team player, results-oriented, committed to providing outstanding customer service and will be excited by the idea of creating exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inspect the hotel regularly to ensure it meets health, safety and hotel standards
- Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities (e.g. kitchens)
- Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests
- Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages)
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plus
- Experience with interior and exterior paint
- Attention to detail
- Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly
- Problem-solving aptitude
