Job Description: Do you love to dance or do yoga and want to share that passion with children? Do you have a dance, yoga, gymnastics, or theater background? We are currently looking for a Seasonal Part time - Dance Instructor for 1.5-3 hrs per week in the Alki Beach/Seattle area. You will provide dance instruction and/or yoga instruction after school one to two days a week to children ages 5-9. There are three 10 week sessions per year (Fall, Winter, Spring) for a total of 30 weeks per year. If you love dance and/or yoga and you love working with children and want just a few hours of paid fun, this job is for you!
Kinderdance is a mobile company that offers dance, yoga, gymnastics and fitness classes to children ages 2-9. The classes we offer also blend educational concepts with the various forms of movement. You will be inspiring young children and making a positive impact on their lives. We provide the lesson plans, props, and music. You provide the enthusiasm, high energy, and smiles.
Expectations:
Love teaching young children.
Ability to learn choreography and demonstrate proficiency.
Have reliable transportation.
Able to obtain a successful background check from Seattle Public Schools
Be reliable and punctual; classes cannot be missed.
Dress properly in Kinderdance® attire.
Be professional when dealing with childcare personnel and directors.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Pay: $34.00 to $40.00 /hour
