Job Summary
Nashville Party Rentals is a small, local family business located in Nashville, Tennessee. Founded in 2023, the company offers chairs, tables, tents, party games and more for events, both large and small. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Party Rental Operations Assistant to join our team.
The Party Rental Operations Assistant role is a full-time, at-will employment position paid at $20.00/hour with 30 hours a week minimum. This role requires availability on Saturday and Sunday. Company vehicles are provided.
This position has a probationary period of 60 days. This position is paid weekly with opportunity for tips and additional hours.
Duties
The Party Rental Operations Assistant role primarily involves the physical handling and preparation of rental equipment and interacting with customers in a professional manner. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with Loading & Unloading chairs, party games, tables, tents, and other rental items at the warehouse and at event sites.
- Assist with Delivering & Setting Up rental equipment at customer locations, ensuring all items are clean, in good condition, and safely and properly assembled according to company standards.
- Assist with Break Down & Packing after events, including careful loading for return transport to prevent damage.
- Supporting Warehouse Organization, including cleaning rental equipment and preparation for upcoming deliveries.
- Other party rental duties as necessary to ensure continued operations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18-years old.
- Valid driver's license with good driving history
- Must be available on Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of work experience in handling products or equipment preferred
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must maintain a professional personal appearance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Additional information
The candidate must be comfortable with the physical demands of the role and exposure to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons and indoor warehouse conditions.
