About Us:
We're not your standard hospitality company — and we don't want to be. At Dursh Hospitality, we manage our properties our own way, not by traditional industry standards. Our approach is proactive, people-focused, and deeply operational. Every team member — especially leadership — plays a vital, boots-on-the-ground role in ensuring daily excellence across every department.
We're seeking a Director of Sales to drive revenue across three properties: our new, full-service Holiday Inn in Fort Worth (pre-opening), our TownePlace Suites in Weatherford, and our Fairfield Inn & Suites in Lewisville. This is a multi-property role — you'll be building and executing sales strategy across three different products (full-service, extended-stay, and select-service) spanning multiple markets. If you're looking for a single-property, desk-bound role, this isn't it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-property sales leadership: Own the sales strategy, pipeline, and revenue performance for Holiday Inn (Fort Worth), TownePlace Suites (Weatherford), and Fairfield Inn & Suites (Lewisville) — balancing priorities and travel across all three markets.
- Pre-opening sales build: For the Holiday Inn, build the sales function from the ground up ahead of opening — including account lists, rate strategy, and a pipeline of group/corporate/catering business ready to convert at launch.
- Account development: Identify, pursue, and secure new corporate, group, and extended-stay accounts across all three properties. Build and maintain relationships with local and regional businesses, event planners, and travel managers in each market.
- Brand standards: Ensure sales practices comply with both IHG (Holiday Inn) and Marriott (TownePlace Suites, Fairfield Inn & Suites) brand standards, systems, and reporting requirements.
- Dursh Hospitality standards: Follow and enforce Dursh-specific sales protocols and procedures. We do things differently, and consistency with our approach is non-negotiable.
- Revenue management collaboration: Work closely with each property's GM and ownership on rate strategy, demand forecasting, and market positioning.
- Reporting and pipeline management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date sales pipelines, call reports, and production tracking across all three properties.
- Field presence: Conduct regular site visits, sales calls, and market outreach across Fort Worth, Weatherford, and Lewisville — this is not a role run entirely from behind a desk.
- Problem solving: Own sales outcomes across all three properties and lead with urgency, especially through the Holiday Inn's pre-opening ramp-up.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven hotel sales experience, ideally with exposure to full-service, extended-stay, and select-service segments.
- Comfortable managing multiple properties, multiple brand standards, and distinct customer bases simultaneously.
- Pre-opening sales experience a strong plus — building a book of business from scratch ahead of a property opening.
- Familiarity with Marriott and/or IHG sales systems and brand standards.
- Strong regional market knowledge across the DFW area (Fort Worth, Weatherford/Parker County, and Lewisville) preferred.
- Highly organized and self-driven — able to prioritize across three properties without dropping any.
- Skilled communicator and relationship-builder, both externally with accounts and internally with multiple GM teams.
- Comfortable with regular travel between properties in different markets.
- Someone who sees this as owning the sales success of a portfolio, not just filling a seat.
This Role is Not For You If:
- You've only ever managed sales for a single property and aren't ready to split focus across three.
- You rely heavily on traditional industry playbooks.
- You're not comfortable with the ambiguity of building a sales pipeline for a property that hasn't opened yet.
- You're not comfortable with regular travel between markets.
- You're looking for a "maintenance mode" role instead of one where you build and drive growth.
Why Join Dursh Hospitality?
We don't manage properties by the book — we manage them by vision, presence, and performance. You'll play a lead role in launching a brand-new full-service Holiday Inn while also driving results at an established TownePlace Suites and Fairfield Inn & Suites. You'll be part of a growing hospitality group that values people who care deeply, show up daily, and take true pride in their work.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
