Job Description
Avila Valley Barn is now taking applications for register clerks involving stocking, cleaning and checking customers out at our registers. This is a great opportunity to spend your summer and fall enjoying all of the seasons at our farm. No experience is necessary.
4 - 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8:30am and 6:30pm. Must be available to work holidays. We employ request-off blackout dates on major holidays due to the large volume of customers during those times. Cashier positions are seasonal.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift roughly 50 lbs. or less repeatedly
- Customer Service Experience Preferred
- Must be physically able and enjoy being on your feet
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have an outgoing positive attitude and be self driven
- Must have a friendly personality with a willingness to help customers
- Must have regular and timely attendance to scheduled shifts
Job Duties:
- Welcoming and providing an uplifting and positive experience for each customer
- Taking orders via clover POS System
- General cleaning duties - Re-stocking counter displays
- Occasionally assisting with pricing and stocking gift shops
Compensation: $16.90 hourly
