Senior Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Salary:$160,000 - $200,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interventional Radiology Technologist to support both Body and Neuro IR services in a dynamic acute care hospital environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IR Tech who enjoys working with advanced procedures, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and serving in a leadership role within a highly skilled Interventional Radiology department.
Required: Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience, including Body and Neuro IR experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during complex Body and Neuro Interventional Radiology procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients for IR procedures
- Maintain patient safety and radiation safety standards
- Demonstrate competency in advanced IR procedures and assist in training team members
- Participate in quality improvement projects and department initiatives
- Actively contribute to Quality Assurance and Radiation Safety meetings
- Support both inpatient and outpatient Interventional Radiology services
- Maintain accurate procedure documentation and patient records
- Participate in call rotation and after-hours coverage as required
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday
- Variable shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Required call coverage on weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Additional compensation for call responsibilities
- Hospital parking available while on call
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Experience supporting both Body IR and Neuro IR procedures
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare experience
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- Ability to work flexible schedules, rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and call assignments
- Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills
Required Certifications & Licenses:
- ARRT Certification
- California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License
- Current BLS (CPR) Certification
- VIR Certification within 1 year of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient environments
- Current VIR Certification
